For-profit banks are attacking not-for-profit credit unions. The American Bankers Association even ranked fighting credit unions as a higher priority than winning the War on Terror.
Lawmakers depend on your advocacy team for information, but they depend on you for votes.
We need YOUR voice. With your support, lawmakers in Austin and Washington, DC will know the Credit Union Difference.

TCUL PAC is the political action committee of the Texas Credit Union League. A PAC is the only legal mechanism for people to band together to provide contributions to political candidates who support their causes or who have demonstrated an interest that the group believes should be supported. The PAC raises money from individuals, including credit union members, volunteers and employees, and cannot accept corporate donations.
The goal of TCUL PAC is to provide direct monetary contributions to support those elected officials or candidates for state office who support credit unions, regardless of their party affiliation or positions on other issues. These offices include Governor, Lt. Governor, Comptroller, Attorney General, State Senators and State House members. No contributions to federal candidates are given by TCUL PAC because of election laws governing contributions. Federal contributions are determined by the Credit Union Legislative Action Council, the PAC affiliated with the Credit Union National Association. Neither TCUL PAC nor CULAC uses your properly raised contributions to run their political operations. If a solicitation agreement has been signed, contributions received by TCUL PAC and CULAC go directly to candidates, regardless of political party, who support credit union issues. Note that currently, where appropriate, the split of all funds raised is 50% to the state TCUL PAC and 50% to the federal CULAC; unless otherwise designated for TCUL PAC Only.
